I totally agree on the symbolic beer and agree that difference is what makes us all what we are. I agree also on Ashcroft and his insane ideas. All I was trying to say is just cause you print it from a gov website it doesn't necessarily mean it's true. That was it then all the other things were brought up. I really do believe the world is a better place without Saddam and I would have loved to not have stopped short in the first Gulf War but, we couldn't because Bush Sr. had to promise not to take him out but, just to push him out of Kuwait. It would have been better to have taken care of him then and there. Trust me I was there. I wasn't in WWII but both of my grandfathers were part of liberating all of Europe so thank you for showing them the respect they deserve for doing so. I'm sorry I may have taken you wrong, infact I think we both let our ideals get in the way of being tolerant of eachothers right to feel and think the way we wish. Without oil there's no ships without ships food doesn't get distributed throughout the world. I don't believe that oil is the only reason we're in Iraq, more like for the regulation of their production and the fact Iraq was becoming the new haven for terror. Just look at the bombings that have just occurred there. And Afghanistan had nothing to do with oil at all, even if the media tried to sell the Halliburton Oil Pipe line as the cause. I do value your opinion and that's the only reason I ran across your article in the first place, cause I like to read all points of view and derive my own conclusions based on the fact presented to me. Good lord you're right we're just bad bad bad people. There were tooooo many conspiracies there for me to get through them all. I will read it even though I truly believe it's crap. From Osama to North Korea we're are just terrible people that want to force our way of life on all. Well those Iraqi's that are demonstrating on the streets are doing so only cause we are there. Whether they like us or not (and there are some Iraqi's that are happy we're there) we've given them a new shot on life. Unfortunately the world needs a watch dog and from history itself, the world almost always has asked for the Americans help and pretty much made us that watch dog and I for one think we do a pretty good job of it. Sure it's not all pretty but, how prettier would it be without the good ol USA? Think about that? For one there wouldn't be a Europe, just a Germany so I guess we're not all that bad after all.
