It is concerning that you have so little reservation with accepting Xaveir Hawks platforms given the numerous red flags that jump out at you when you look into him and his platform. For me, he presents like he himself is a brand. A cookie cutter prototype leader for the "conscious" community (similar to how we get the prototype tech mogul in all the TV shows and movies that emulate Mark Zuckerberg with his sassy attitude, jeans and hoodie).
Intellectually and artistically, this guy appears to be quite gifted... maybe even a little too gifted to be believable, if that makes sense?

If Bitcoin were a country today...

If Bitcoin were a country today (on 1/7/19 reference 47 TWh per year), it would come in 53rd in yearly energy consumption; more than Iraq and less than Singapore. When estimating energy usage, its important to not just think about bitcoin, but the hundreds of other cryptocurrencies which also use proof of work. This Of the Numbers article does a good job estimating other top cryptocurrency energy usage from PoW which probably puts the total blockchain energy consumption closer to the 80-100 TWh range.
The recent dip in energy consumption is a result of a bitcoin price crash, and miners with less efficient hardware giving up because the energy bills dont make it worth it. This has led to between 600800k miners shutting operations since mid-November.

The co-founder of cryptocurrency news website Cointelegraph acknowledged as the Joan of Arc of blockchain, Toni Lane Casserly, has died at the age of 29.
Ms Casserlys father announced on Tuesday that the cryptocurrency entrepreneur had died last week.
The Cointelegraph co-founder was a prominent public speaker and a staunch advocate of the blockchain technology that backs the bitcoin market.

All of the basic off-line cash schemes presented in 3.3 can cryptographically detect the identity of multiple spenders, but the only way to prevent off-line multiple spending is to use a tamper-resistant device such as a smart card. One drawback of this approach is that the user must put a great deal of trust in this device, since the user loses the ability to monitor information entering or leaving the card. It is conceivable that the tamper-resistant device could leak private information about the user without the user's knowledge. Chaum and Pedersen [6] proposed the idea of embedding a tamper-resistant device into a user-controlled outer module in order to achieve the security benefits of a tamper-resistant device without requiring the user to trust the device. They call this combination an electronic wallet (see Figure 4). The outer module (such as a small hand-held computer or the user's PC) is accessible to the user. The inner module which cannot be read or modified is called the "observer." All information which enters or leaves the observer must pass through the outer module, allowing the user to monitor information that enters or leaves the card. However, the outer module cannot complete a transaction without the cooperation of the observer. This gives the observer the power to prevent the user from making transactions that it does not approve of, such as spending the same coin more than once.

Back in the day, the go-to shadow bank for cryptocurrency exchanges was a company called Crypto Capital Corp. Crypto Capital Corp is said to have worked with just about every cryptocurrency exchange in the space at some point in time, and also provided financial services to Tether.

Wells Fargo and a few other big banks severed ties with Bitfinex in early 2017, citing questionable financial practices by the exchange. This prompted Bitfinex to turn to Crypto Capital Corp. Bitfinex stored over 850 million dollars of their corporate and user funds with Crypto Capital Corp, which somehow lost every single penny.

An investigation by the New York AG found that Bitfinex used Tether's bank balance to fill the 850-million-dollar gap left by Crypto Capital Corp, and that this transaction was facilitated and orchestrated by their parent company, iFinex.
In December 2019, Bitfinex and Tether apparently handed over more than 70 thousand documents to the New York AG, and seem to have decided to start handing over the real documents following a virtual hearing in September 2020. The Supreme Court will begin examining the documents after January 15th, 2021.
Tether Price Manipulation Lawsuit
A price manipulation lawsuit was filed in October 2019 by five cryptocurrency traders who allege that cryptocurrency exchanges, namely Bitfinex, used Tether's USDT stablecoin to manipulate the cryptocurrency market during the 2017-2018 bull run.
The people behind the market manipulation suit against Tether seem to be looking to settled. This is because they reduced their initial 1.4 trillion dollar suit down to a reasonable costs of suit, pre- and post-judgment interest, and reasonable attorneys' fees'.
STABLE Act
If the Stable Act is passed, it would instantly make all stablecoins illegal, and would require stablecoin issuers to receive approval from the Federal Reserve and a handful of other government agencies if they want to resume operations.
In addition, stablecoin issuers would have to obtain a banking charter, follow banking regulations, require any company using their stablecoins to cough up KYC information about their users, and keep all of the US dollars backing their stablecoins tokens at the Federal Reserve itself.
USDT Ban Effects
If USDT was banned in the United States, that ban would likely only apply to cryptocurrency exchanges based in the United States. The USDT liquidity lost on those exchanges would transfer over to stablecoins like USDC and DAI, which are already projected to surpass USDT, and after a couple of turbulent weeks the crypto markets would recover.

Did The CIA Create Bitcoin? There's no conclusive evidence of who Satoshi Nakamoto really is. That remains a mystery to this day as far as the public is concerned. SHA-256 is a one-way hashing function that compresses and encrypts a string of any length into a unique 256-bit signature or hash. The original string cannot be determined from the hash. And it's impossible to guess what SHA-256's output will be for any given input. So it's functionally random. You can enter Abraham Lincoln's Gettysburg Address into it and get one hash, then change a single letter and enter it again and get an entirely different hash. None of this proves the CIA created Bitcoin. The NSA published SHA-256 in 2001. So non-CIA coders could have taken it up and used it to make Bitcoin. But after Crypto AG, it does make one wonder if there's some kind of back door into SHA-256. Perhaps more incriminating is the meaning of the name Satoshi Nakamoto in Japanese. Is there a backdoor to SHA-256 cryptography?
I'm no expert but I came across this post in wikileaks.

SHA-256 was invented by the NSA so I'm wondering if they built it with a backdoor? I'm a Bitcoin enthusiast and would like some educated opinions about this. I don't have an opinion either way (due to my lack of specified knowledge) and would like to remain optimistic about Bitcoin. Let's have a real and intelligent conversation about this please. Thanks!

The Snowden docs on wiki leaks shows the NSA has backdoors in at least some of the ECC class of crypto, developed by Neal Koblitz.
The more popular ECC crypto used by most was the one Snowden had docs on, the one used by Bitcoin didn't have such docs.
However, a few days before Satoshi released his 2008 Paper on Bitcoin, Neal Koblitz released his own paper praising ECC crypto and the NSA.
So some think it is suspicious that the creator of ECC crypto just happened to release his own paper praising what is now known to be backdoored.
Some in the bitcoin world think the use of the Koblitz curve ECC by Satoshi was a 'lucky' thing, since the more popular ECC crypto appears to have been backdoored.
But it's very suspicious that just days before Bitcoin paper is released with Koblitz curve crypto there was Neal Koblitz praising the NSA and ECC crypto as a whole. Then you have the certicom issue, it's supposed to be Blackbery and the main guy at certicom is always the co-author of new Neal Koblitz ECC papers.
Now you have Etherum and guess who was hired as an advisor, Neal Koblitz.
NSA's job is secure and break crypto for USA, so you look at all the crypto, ECC, Blackberry, etc and you see Neal Kolbitz. Now he's in bed with Etherum.
Now when ECC was being pushed by NIST and the Snowden docs show 10 Million going to NIST from the NSA to push the cooked ECC crypto, all you see are red flags.
NSA Suite B is the key it's used in most crypto today.
So all crypto may be cooked.
How do you cook ECC? Well there's some good videos explaining it on youtube, math professors explaining that if the seed keys to ECC have known mathematical relationships to the developer (NSA) then they can easily cook or back door it.
Bottom line is RSA warned about all this and no one listened, and now RSA is looking more secure than anything connected to ECC/Koblitz/NSA.

In the early 1980's the NSA tried to muzzle academia in the USA with all kinds of stuff like saying any encryption related academic papers in the USA had to go through the NSA.

More and more it's looking like RSA may be the only secure crypto left.
Very few people really know squat about crypto, and every word I've said is based upon research showing the somewhat hidden connections to NSA in all versions of ECC.
The seed keys in ECC are way smaller than the prime seeds in RSA too, so they sold ECC on how small it was to work with saving computer power in doing the crypto. So if the seed keys are cooked, you have no encryption really with ECC.
Snowden is the tip of the iceberg in this whole mess.

Bitcoin was the first implementation of a blockchain, which facilitates the exchange and tracks ownership of its own, newly created monetary asset, Bitcoin (BTC). However, blockchains can be used for far more than tracking and trading cryptocurrency, as Ethereum has thoroughly demonstrated.

"Chinas official cryptocurrency is known as the e-Yuan, and its development has attracted attention from all across the globe. Investors are keen to get a piece of the new currency, hoping that it will rise to the levels achieved by Bitcoin. However, there is still considerable uncertainty about how much the e-Yuan will be included in Chinas financial system. Critics of the currency claim that the state-controlled currency will never become completely decentralized from the government.

The statement noted that encryption is vital and privacy and cybersecurity must be protected but it should not come at the expense of wholly precluding law enforcement, and the tech industry itself, from being able to act against the most serious illegal content and activity online.

It was a good time dreaming about getting rich from cryptocurrency. I was almost considering to verify my identity and add funds on Binance to buy Dogecoin and others. Now some government official crypto coin will come with some nationalist symbol on it whose price will "totally not" be controlled by authorities in government to "totally not transfer corruption money". They will "totally not" control other people's ownership and usage of the currency and if someone whistleblows against 'nation's official cryptocurrency', they will "totally not" be labelled anti-national and jailed without bail. Although its thought that artificial intelligence will help boost countries economies in a number of areas, from heavy industry to medical research, AI technology will also be useful in warfare. Artificial intelligence can be used to develop cyber weapons, and control autonomous tools like drone swarms fleets of low-cost quadcopters with a shared brain that can be used for surveillance as well as attacking opponents.
Both China and the US are currently researching this technology, and in his speech on Friday, Putin predicted that future wars would be fought by countries using drones.
