The following amazing thread on twitter
was put together by user "threadsIrish" (Oct 2021)

1. Who Are The Young Global Leaders That Have Been Handpicked To Bring About Global Change ? Recognisable names from Royalty, Politics, Sports, Technology, TV & Professors have all appeared on the YGL list.

2.

Many have gone on to achieve greater things. But is there an agenda at play ? The YGL site first appeared in 2005. It is owned and run by the World Economic Forum (WEF).

They say they have more than 1,400 members however when I checked the list many names were missing.

3.

I had to go back and use the Wayback Machine which archives and keeps old web pages. I went back to 2005 and discovered some interesting facts about the site and their vision.

Back in 2005 they had what they called "The 2020 Initiative” 4. “The Young Global Leaders will engage in the “2020 Initiative”, a comprehensive endeavour to jointly engage in defining a vision for a better future. The Young Global Leaders will then develop innovative global strategies that can be translated into decisions and actions necessary to be taken today. 5. The 2020 Initiative will have high public visibility to foster increased awareness among decision-makers on key issues & commitment to engage in concrete action”

Quite revealing. Why talk about 2020 back in 2005. It gets even more interesting. 6.

2 years later in 2007 that changed to “The 2030 Initiative”. I'm sure it was just a coincidence that there is also Agenda 2020 which morphed into Agenda 2030. However, Agenda 2030 wasn’t mentioned until 2015 for the 1st time

The WEF plan has been in place for a very long time

7.

The people who chose the YGL members back in 2005 seem to primarily have been drawn from the media with names such as Steve Forbes from Forbes, Tom Glocer from Reuters & James Murdoch of British Sky Broadcasting amongst many others.

The media were involved very early on.

The best way of describing YGL is like primary school. When you graduate you go to the WEF which is secondary school. Let's have a look at the politicians first who have gone on to lead their country. I’ve just selected 4 politicians who are in YGL & WEF. There are a lot more.

9.

These YGL members were handpicked early on to fulfil major roles at some stage in the future. 1st step was YGL now its WEF

Emmanuel Macron - French Prime Minister
Leo Varadkar - Irish Taoiseach (PM) until 2020
Jacinda Ardern - New Zealand PM
Sanna Marin - Finnish PM

But there's more. Politicians have also been placed in Ministerial/Cabinet roles where policy can be influenced.

Jens Spahn - German Health Minister
Peter Buttigieg - USA Department Transport

Members of Royal families also make an appearance.

H.R.H. Prince Jaime de Bourbon de Parme, Climate Envoy, Netherlands

13.

Husband and wife team the Crown Prince & Princess from Norway

H.R.H. Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway

H.R.H. Crown Prince Haakon of Norway

Whilst none of the above Royalty are in the WEF yet it is only a case of time before they are.

None of "The Great Reset" would be possible without getting the technology companies and their founders on board.

Even as early as 2005 Sergey Brin, the founder of Google was in YGL as was Larry Page. Google also own Youtube.

Image

15.

Mark Zuckerberg is the same. The founder of FB who also owns Instagram & WhatsApp came through the YGL ranks before progressing to WEF.

Sheryl Sandberg, FBs CEO was also earmarked early on.

16.

It's hard to believe but there was also a time when Yahoo was actually far bigger than Google. It then got swallowed up.

That didn't stop YGL including Jerry Yang the founder and Marissa Meyer the then CEO to the list.

What use is it being online using the internet if you can't buy something. Many companies use Paypal for their goods and services. It made perfect sense therefore to recruit Peter Thiel who founded the company.

Paypal has 286m users and has revenues of $21 billion

18. What if you are looking for information on somebody or something on Google. 9/10 times you will get a Wikipedia entry appearing high up in the search engines. Jimmy Wales who set up Wikipedia is also a YGL & WEF member.

There is no escaping the YGL & WEF clutches

Moving from the virtual to the physical world, one of the most popular magazines is TIME. TIME is owned by Marc Benioff who also owns Salesforce. He is on the board of WEF and came up through the YGL ranks

TIME also was the 1st mainstream publication to cover the Great Reset

20.

YGL has also retained close connections with actors Leonardo Di Caprio, Ashton Kutcher & Charlize Theron. Their membership at YGL seems to have been scrubbed although they do appear on the WEF site

They are also highly regarded as influencers.

21. Sports stars such as Man United's Rio Ferdinand, Arsenal's Mathieu Flamini and Formula 1 Niko Rosberg make the cut as well.

Ferdinand also has an interest in C19 testing for the Premier League whilst the others have businesses in climate change.

22.

Faces that regularly appear on TV commenting on all matters COVID such as Devi Sridhar and Leana Wen from CNN are also doing the bidding of their YGL & WEF overlords

These names so far are only the tip of the iceberg. There is only so much I can cover in a ?? . There are many more.

The YGL isn't just full of well known faces. Over the last 15 years thousands of young people with successful businesses from a myriad of different industries have been earmarked. They are however chosen for a very good reason.

To further the goals of the WEF & Agenda 2030
