The history of making a powderkeg:

Anti Imperialism: Did the Intermarium become the template for NATO?

The Latin term Intermarium signifies "land between the seas" and is used to refer to an anti-Russian alliance of the states between the Baltic Sea, the Black Sea and the Adriatic Sea. Historically, this region largely coincides with the territory once controlled by the Polish nobility in the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, which existed from 1569 to 1791, before those territories were partitioned between the Russian Empire, the German Empire and the Austro-Hungarian Empire.

The Polish-Lithuanian Two Nations Republic

The main conception of the Intermarium was formulated by the Polish general and dictator Jozef Pilsudski. Throughout the 20th century, its fate has been closely bound up with the development of the Russian Revolution.

The main basis for the Intermarium was formulated as early as 1904 within the context of the Russo-Japanese War and on the eve of the First Russian Revolution of 1905 by Pilsudski, who was at that point a leading member of the Polish Socialist Party (PPS). The PPS had been founded in 1892 on the basis of a platform blending elements of Marxism with Polish nationalism. The main goal of the PPS was the achievement of national independence from the Russian Empire. In this struggle, the party regarded the non-Russian nationalities in the Tsarist Empire as its main allies. Rejecting any closer association with Russian social democracy and dismissing the possibility of a working class revolution against the tsarist regime, the PPS maintained its closest ties in Russia with the Social Revolutionaries (SRs). Like the SRs, the PPS was oriented toward layers of petty bourgeoisie and supported terrorism, rather than the mobilization of the working class. Above all, the PPS had a strong nationalist orientation and was ferociously anti-Russian.

"By the time the Nazis marched across the Continent, Intermarium had become, in the words of a US Army intelligence report, "an instrument of German intelligence"

Gladio accusations, refutations disinfo allegations seem familiar

Operazione Gladio

April 7, 2018

Operation Gladio (Italian: Operazione Gladio) was the codename for a clandestine North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO) "stay-behind" operation in Italy during the Cold War.

Its purpose was to prepare for, and implement, armed resistance in the event of a Warsaw Pact invasion and conquest. Although Gladio specifically refers to the Italian branch of the NATO stay-behind organizations, "Operation Gladio" is used as an informal name for all of them.

The name Gladio is the Italian form of gladius, a type of Roman shortsword- once the most feared close distance weapon. Stay-behind operations were prepared in many NATO member countries, and some neutral countries.

The role of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) in Gladio and the extent of its activities during the Cold War era, and any relationship to terrorist attacks perpetrated in Italy during the "Years of Lead" (late 1960s to early 1980s) is the subject of debate.

World War II experience

In the United Kingdom, Prime Minister Winston Churchill created the Special Operations Executive (SOE) in 1940 to assist resistance movements and carry out subversive operations in enemy-held territory across occupied Europe.

Guardian reporter David Pallister wrote in December 1990 that a guerrilla network with arms caches had been put in place following the fall of France.

It included Brigadier "Mad Mike" Calvert, and was drawn from the 5th (ski) battalion of the Scots Guards, which was originally intended to fight against the Soviet forces attacking Finland.

Known as Auxiliary Units, they were headed by Major Colin Gubbins, an expert in guerrilla warfare who later led the SOE. The Auxiliary Units were attached to GHQ Home Forces, and concealed within the Home Guard. The units were originally created in preparation of a possible invasion of the British Isles by the Third Reich. Several of their members subsequently joined the Special Air Service and saw action in France in late 1944.

Their existence did not become widely known by the public until the 1990s, despite a book on the subject which was published in 1968, written by David Lampe.

Post war creation

After World War II, the UK and the US decided to use a "stay-behind" paramilitary organizations, this time, with the official aim of countering a possible Soviet invasion through sabotage and guerrilla warfare behind enemy lines. Arms caches were hidden, escape routes prepared, and loyal members recruited, whether in Italy or in other European countries.

The stay-behind armies that were created with the experience and involvement of former SOE officers, for the first time, had a picture that became an "icon" and "symbol" was published May 16, 1977 by the "Corriere d'Information," and in the following days was taken up by many other newspapers in Italy and abroad.

Vincenzo Vinciguerra had revealed its existence during his 1984 trial. He is an Italian neo-fascist activist, a former member of the Avanguardia Nazionale ("National Vanguard") and Ordine Nuovo ("New Order"). He is currently serving a life-sentence for the murder of three Carabinieri by a car bomb in Peteano in 1972. The investigation in this previously unsolved affair by prosecutor Felice Casson led to the revelation of "Gladio" networks around Western Europe peteano.jpg

Following Giulio Andreotti's October 1990 revelations, General Sir John Hackett, former commander-in-chief of the British Army on the Rhine, later declared on November 16, 1990, that a contingency plan involving "stay behind and resistance in depth" was drawn up after the war.

The same week, Sir Anthony Farrar-Hockley, former commander-in-chief of NATO's Forces in Northern Europe from 1979 to 1982, declared to The Guardian that a secret arms network was established in Britain after the war.

Farrar-Hockley wrote two books about these type of engagements , the last being published in 1982 , The Third World War: The Untold Story, which elaborated on the original.

Farrar-Hockley had aroused controversy in 1983 when he became involved in trying to organise a campaign for a new Home Guard against a potential Soviet invasion Operating in all of NATO ,and even in some neutral countries, such as Spain, before its 1982 admission to NATO.

After the creation of NATO in 1949,Gladio was first coordinated by the Clandestine Committee of the Western Union (CCWU) and integrated into the "Clandestine Planning Committee"overseen by the SHAPE (Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe), which transferred to Belgium after France's official withdrawal from the NATO military organization – but not from NATO as a whole – because it was not followed by the dissolution of the French stay-behind paramilitary movements.

The existence of these clandestine NATO units remained a closely guarded secret throughout the Cold War until 1990, when the first branch of the international network was discovered in Italy.

While the press said that the NATO stay-behind units were '˜the best-kept, and most damaging, political-military secret since World War II', the Italian government, amidst sharp public criticism, promised to close down the secret army. Italy insisted identical clandestine units had also existed in all other countries of Western Europe.

This allegation proved correct and subsequent research found that in Belgium, the secret NATO unit was code-named SDRA8, in Denmark '" Absalon, in Germany -TD BJD, in Greece '" LOK, in Luxemburg Stay-Behind, in the Netherlands '" I&O, in Norway '" ROC, in Portugal '" Aginter Press, in Spain '" Red Quantum, in Switzerland '" P26, in Turkey '" Özel Harp Dairesi, In Sweden '" AGAG (Aktions Gruppen Arla Gryning), in France '" '˜Plan Bleu', and in Austria '" OWSGV; however, the code name of the stay-behind unit in Finland remains unknown.

Upon learning of the discovery, the parliament of the European Union (EU) drafted a resolution sharply criticizing the fact.

Yet only Italy, Belgium and Switzerland carried out parliamentary investigations, while the administration of President George H. W. Bush refused to comment.

If Gladio was effectively "the best-kept, and most damaging, political-military secret since World War II", it must be underlined, that on several occasions, arms caches were discovered and stay-behind paramilitary organizations officially dissolved.

First publicly revealed in Italy

The Italian NATO stay-behind organization, dubbed "Gladio", was set up under Minister of Defense Paolo Taviani'˜s supervision.

Giulio Andreotti's revelations on 24 October 1990

When Prime Minister Giulio Andreotti publicly recognized the existence of Gladio on 24 October 1990. He spoke of a "structure of information, response and safeguard", with arms caches and reserve officers.

He also gave a list of 622 civilians who according to him were part of Gladio, to the Commissione Stragi, (the parliamentary commission) which was in charge of investigations on comitted bombings during the Years Of Lead in Italy.

Andreotti also stated that 127 weapons' cache had been dismantled, and said that Gladio had not been involved in any of the bombings committed from the 1960s to the 1980s.

The list of Gladio members given by Andreotti was believed to be incomplete because it didn't include, Antonio Arconte, and others who described an organization very different from the one brushed by Giulio Andreotti '" Arconte described an organization closely tied to the SID secret service and the Atlanticist strategy.

US State Department's 2006 response

The US State Department published a communiqué in January 2006 which, while confirming the existence of NATO stay-behind efforts, in general, and the presence of the "Gladio" stay-behind unit in Italy, in particular, with the purpose of aiding resistance in the event of Soviet aggression directed westward, from the Warsaw Pact, dismissed claims of any United States ordered, supported, or authorized terrorism by stay-behind units.

The State Department stated that the accusations of US-sponsored "false flag" operations are rehashed former Soviet disinformation based on documents that the Soviets forged; specifically the Westmoreland Field Manual, also called US Army Field Manual 30-31B was a Cold War-era forgery by Soviet intelligence services.

It has been called the Westmoreland Field Manual because it is signed with the alleged signature of Gen William Westmoreland whose forged nature was confirmed by former KGB operatives, following the end of the Cold War.

Cold War shenanigans:

Secret NATO-Nazi alliance for anti-Soviet/Russian operations

The use of fascist and/or far-right operatives to wage counterrevolutionary warfare is standard U.S. doctrine. Recruited from elements aligned with ideological fascism, wealthy landowning and corporate elites, drug lords and various criminal syndicates, "third force" operatives, acting in concert with military and police bureaucracies, employ widespread terror as a principle means to smash insurgent movements as well as the legal left.

The historical origins of modern U.S. counterinsurgency doctrine can be traced to the recruitment of ex-Nazis by the U.S. intelligence and military apparatus at the end of World War II. The initial counterinsurgency model and subsequent doctrinal revisions were derived from _Nazi_ experiences in waging anti- partisan warfare in France, Greece, Italy, Yugoslavia and the Soviet Union during the war and _American_ experiences battling insurgents in the Philippines, Central America and the Caribbean

ITALY:

"To discover one is the only person, except for the members of this organisation, who knows about the existence of Gladio, and thinking about it that they could kill you any moment, is a terrible feeling", said state prosecutor Felice Casson who tracked Gladio.

After a long investigation the Italian Gladio was discovered. A bomb attack near Triest in 1972 in which 3 people were killed was brought to court in 1989 by state prosecutor Felice Casson. The more his investigations progressed, the closer he came to Gladio, but the solving of the case was prevented by the secret service and prime minister Andreotti. Despite the attempts to cover up the events, the state had top acknowledge the existence of Gladio. The investigations revealed 622 members, 138 secret arms depots and a training camp in Sardinia. An arms depot was discovered in Northern Italy in 1988, containing 127 weapons and explosives. This depot was controlled by the Italian intelligence service SISMI.

State prosecutor Felice Casson concluded that Gladio was founded in October 1956 by the USA and the Italian intelligence service SISMI. Furthermore he discovered links between the organisation and president Cossiga, the lodge P-2 and freemasons, as well as prime minister Andreotti who was prosecuted in 1993 for his contacts with the Mafia.

FRANCE:

The French contra-guerrilla organisation was called "Windrose". Defence minister Jean Pierre Chevenement stated the contra-guerrilla was founded in the `50s and that the organisation had been dissolved by president Mitterand. However, an Italian source revealed the French contra-guerrilla organisation had been present at a meeting of representatives from all contra-guerrilla organisations, the so-called "Super- NATO" in Brussels as late as October 1990.

SPAIN:

The socialist government of Felipe Gonzales, coming to power in 1984, at first denied the existence of a contra-guerrilla organisation in Spain. But defence minister Narcis Serra ordered a investigation committee, without participation of the military. It was known that contra-guerrilla organisations existed during the junta of Franco and that Franco participated in talks with fascist politicians and European military leaders. A Italian member of Gladio stated on television that Gladio, together with Spanish contra-guerrilla's, had been trained on the Canary Islands by the American army. Later there had been training centres and contra-guerrilla sections in Spain itself as well, supported by the Spanish military. The official denials were exposed as lies.

The activities of the Spanish contra-guerrilla were even more disclosed after a statement by a policeman in 1994. The policeman stated the bookkeeper Galey, accused of being a member of ETA, had never had any relations with ETA in the first place, and that he had been kidnapped by the Spanish contra-guerrilla organisation GAL. After these revelations, a new investigation was ordered and a trial was opened. The investigation revealed that between 1983 and 1987 at least 23 people, accused of being ETA-members, had been kidnapped and murdered by the GAL.

BELGIUM:

The Belgium contra-guerrilla organisation "Glaive" was established in 1949 in co-operation between England and a subdivision of the Belgium military intelligence service SGR, the SDRAB. The core of this contra-guerrilla organisation was constituted by 8 officers in active duty and 10 pensioned officers.

HOLLAND:

1990 the Dutch prime-minister Ruud Lubbers denied in a written statement to parliament that a contra-guerrilla organisation existed. This was a lie. Subsequent investigations revealed the existence of the secret contra-guerrilla organisation "Operaties en Inlichtingen" (Operations and Intelligence). This organisation receives 1.5-3 million dollars each year from a secret fund of the defence department. Several secret arms depots were discovered like the one in Velp in 1983.

GREECE:

The Greek contra-guerrilla organisation is called "Sheepskin". At first the Greek government denied the existence of a contra-guerrilla organisation as well. Prime-minister Papandreou did acknowledge the existence of the Greek contra- guerrilla in a statement in October 1990, but he claimed to have ordered its dissolvement after he had come to power in 1984. Greece became NATO-member in 1952. That same year, the Greek "Central Information Service KYB" was established. On March 25, 1955, the Greek chief of staff Davos and the CIA officer Trascott signed the papers for the establishment of the Greek contra- guerrilla organisation which was later known as "Sheepskin". The document was counter-signed by the then prime-minister Papagos. The organisation had 1.500 members, a number which could be increased to 3.500 in case of emergency. There were 800 depots to its disposal, filled with weapons, munition and explosives. On April 21, 1967, KYB officers used a plan dating from 1950, drawn up in case of a communist occupation, to carry out a military coup. Within 20 minutes, the putchists controlled all major objects. When the CIA, who backed the coup, convinced the junta of the possibility of a similar coup to seize power on Cyprus, the way was opened for a military intervention by Turkey on Cyprus.

GERMANY:

The chief of the German contra-guerrilla organisation "Antikommunistische Angriffstruppe" (Anti-communist Attack Force), the retired general Reinhard Gehlen,+ was also chief of the federal intelligence service BND from 1945-1968. The German contra-guerrilla organisation is also known as "Gehlen-Bewegung" (Gehlen Movement), "Stay Behind" and "Sword". The "Bund Deutscher Jugend" (German Youth Federation), founded in 1950, is in the same tradition. A former agent of this organisation, Dieter von Glahn, stated for the press that the BDJ was one of the many organisations which were financed by the CIA.

One of the organisations in Germany, set up by the CIA, was "Peters Organisation", later known as "Technischer Dienst TD" (Technical Service). The best agents of these organisations had the disposal of high-tech radio equipment "Harbuna", manufactured by AEG/TST, especially for BND-agents. Germany supplies the contra-guerrilla organisations in other countries with "training and requisites". Near Munich, the US 20. Special Forces had its headquarters, and the "School for Counter-Insurgency" was situated in Ober-Ammergau. Contra-guerrilla members from many countries, not just from NATO-countries, were trained in camps in Bayern/Bad Toelz and Schoengau.

SWITZERLAND:

The contra-guerrilla organisation in Switzerland was set up in 1950 as "Geheime Abwehr Organisation" (Secret Resistence Organisation). Investigations showed the organisation kept files on about 1/6 of all Swiss, that is more than 900.000 Swiss. The GAO belonged to the Intelligence and Counter-intelligence Service (UNA), directed by the chiefs of staff. Although not a NATO- country, the chiefs of the Swiss contra-guerrilla participated in the meetings of "Super-NATO" in Belgium. An investigation by a parliamentary committee revealed the existence of the organisation "Project-26" (P-26), as well as several arms and explosives depots in Switzerland. The members of P-26 were trained in a country which name wasnot disclosed, and they possessed radio equipment which was used by secret NATO organisations and which the Swiss army did not dispose of. This equipment was supplied by the German BND. Furthermore, a special service ("Spez. D") was set up to facilitate the exchange of information between Switzerland and NATO. This organisation had links with the German organisation "Schwarze Hand" (Black Hand).

AUSTRIA:

In October 1950, the Austrian minister of the Interior, Franz Olah, ordered an attack against a workers' strike in which communist workers participated as well. After the strike was crushed, the scabs were brought together in a organisation, the "OeWSGV" (Austrian Defence Sports and Friendship Association). Franz Olah described the organisation as a "special project" which was to be activated in case a communist government was to be formed. The OeWSGV was equipped with a central headquarters, special radio equipment, as well as arms and explosives depots in several places.

SCANDINAVIAN COUNTRIES:

The contra-guerrilla organisations in the Scandinavian countries like Denmark, Norway and the non-NATO countries Sweden and Finland were set up between 1951 and 1953 by William Colby who later became director of the CIA.

William Colby wrote in his memoirs that he received support of governments in Norway and Denmark to set up the contra- guerrilla. In Sweden and Finland the contra-guerrilla was organised in an illegal way with the help of right-wing parties. In 1978, a large arms depot was discovered in Norway. The government stated this depot was to be used in case of war. The roots of the contra-guerrilla in Sweden can be traced back to the "Sveaborg Brothers in Arms". The people who were contacted, all belonged to independent contra-guerrilla groups.

Turkey's "COINTELPRO" Scandal - Part 1

Ukraine Ops -
anti-Soviet covert intelligence operations

In April 1941, four years before he was to become president and eight months before the United States entered World War II, Sen. Harry Truman of Missouri reacted to the news that Germany had invaded the Soviet Union:

"If we see that Germany is winning the war, we ought to help Russia; and if Russia is winning, we ought to help Germany, and in that way let them kill as many as possible."

Truman was not called out as a cynic when he spoke these words from the floor of the Senate. On the contrary, when he died in 1972, Truman's obituary in The New York Times cited this statement as establishing his "reputation for decisiveness and courage." "This basic attitude," gushed the Times, "prepared him to adopt from the start of his Presidency, a firm policy," an attitude that prepared him to order the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki with "no qualms."

Truman's same basic "let them kill as many as possible" attitude also informed the postwar doctrine that bears his name, along with the establishment of NATO and the C.I.A., both of which he is credited with founding.

A Feb. 25 op-ed in The Los Angeles Times by Jeff Rogg, "The C.I.A. has backed Ukrainian insurgents before '” Let's learn from those mistakes," cites a C.I.A. program to train Ukrainian nationalists as insurgents to fight the Russians that began in 2015 and compares it with a similar effort by Truman's C.I.A. in Ukraine that began in 1949.

By 1950, one year in, "U.S. officers involved in the program knew they were fighting a losing battle. '¦ In the first U.S.-backed insurgency, according to top secret documents later declassified, American officials intended to use the Ukrainians as a proxy force to bleed the Soviet Union." This op-ed cites John Ranelagh, a historian of the C.I.A., who argued that the program "demonstrated a cold ruthlessness" because the Ukrainian resistance had no hope of success, and so "America was in effect encouraging Ukrainians to go to their deaths."

2014 - Ukraine Gladio Ops -
a troubling report of Israeli involvement

His nom de guerre is Delta. He is one of the military leaders of the "Ukrainian revolution" even if, as he himself says, he does not consider himself Ukrainian. Under the helmet he wears a kippa. The story was released by the Jewish press agency JTA (headquartered in New York), after doing an anonymous interview and photographing him in camouflage with a bulletproof vest, his face hidden behind sunglasses and a black scarf. [1]

"Delta" is a former veteran of the Israeli army, who specialized in urban warfare as a member of the Givati infantry brigade, which was involved in Operation Cast Lead and other attacks on Gaza, including the massacre of civilians in the neighborhood of Tel el-Hawa. Back in Ukraine since a few years behind the guise of a businessman, he set up and trained, together with other former Israeli soldiers, the "Blue Helmets of Maidan", a fighting unit applying in Kiev the same urban techniques that were experimented in Gaza.

As he told the JTA, his platoon takes its orders from Svoboda, that is to say a party that behind its new facade retains its neo-Nazi matrix. So as to reassure the Ukrainian Jews who rightfully feel threatened by the neo-Nazis, "Delta" insisted that the accusation of anti-Semitism levelled against Svoboda is "bullshit."

The presence in Ukraine of Israeli military specialists is confirmed by the information relayed by the JTA and other Jewish news agencies, according to which many of the wounded in clashes with the Kiev police were immediately carried off to Israeli hospitals, evidently to prevent someone from revealing any more inconvenient truths. Such as the one about the people who trained and armed the snipers on Maidan Square who, with the same precision rifles, fired on both the protesters and police (almost all shot in the head).

These facts shed a new light on the way the coup in Kiev was organized and implemented. Under the direction of the United States and NATO, the CIA and other secret services have for years recruited, funded, trained and armed the neo-Nazi activists that in Kiev stormed government buildings, and were then made into the "national Guard."

Photographic documentation, which has been circulating recently on the internet, shows young Ukrainian activists belonging to the neo-Nazi Uno-Unso organization, in Estonia in 2006, being trained by NATO instructors in urban warfare techniques and the use of explosives for sabotage and attacks [2] NATO did the same thing during the Cold War to form the clandestine "stay-behind" paramilitary structure, codenamed "Gladio" [3]. Active also in Italy where, at Camp Darby ( U.S. military base near Pisa ) and other sites, they trained neo-fascist groups to carry out attacks and perpetrate a possible coup d'état. An analogous paramilitary structure was created and is functioning today in Ukraine, also using Israeli specialists.

The coup would not have succeeded, however, if NATO had not co-opted a large part of the top echelons of the Ukrainian military hierarchy, training them for years at NATO's Defense College and in drilling them in "peace operations." And it is not difficult to imagine that, in the shadows of the official network, a secret one is lurking. Thus, the Ukrainian armed forces heeded NATO's order to "remain neutral" while the coup was unfolding. Then, they were taken over by by Andriy Parubiy, co-founder of the National Socialist Party renamed Svoboda, who became secretary of the Committee of National Defense, and by Admiral Igor Tenjukh, appointed Defense Minister, who is also linked to Svoboda .

Without doubt, the purging (or elimination) of those officers considered to be unreliable is already in progress. While NATO, which has de facto annexed Ukraine, pronounced the referendum in Crimea "illegal and illegitimate ."

Food Security - WEF presents New paradigms in Agriculture

My research indicates that the World Economic Forum is not a European creation. In reality, it is instead an operation which emanates from the public policy grandees of the Kennedy, Johnson and Nixonian eras of American politics; all of whom had ties to the Council on Foreign Relations and the associated "Round Table" Movement, with a supporting role played by the Central Intelligence Agency.

There were three extremely powerful and influential men, Kissinger among them, who would lead Klaus Schwab towards their ultimate goal of complete American Empire-aligned global domination via the creation of social and economic policies. In addition, two of the men were at the core of manufacturing the ever present threat of global thermonuclear war. By examining these men through the wider context of the geopolitics of the period, I will show how their paths would cross and coalesce during the 1960s, how they recruited Klaus Schwab through a CIA-funded program, and how they were the real driving force behind the creation of the World Economic Forum.

Letters archive reveals Kissingers intelligence links

letters: Kissinger, as Executive Director of the Harvard International Seminar, the CIA was using the program to launder funds via grants from "privately sponsored programs," and during the same period, Kissinger was covertly working with the FBI.

Description:

Kissinger Henry 1923 - An archive of letters from Kissinger, as Executive Director of the Harvard International Seminar, to Philip Rice, as Chairman, regarding the 1953 seminar. At this time, the CIA was using the program to launder funds via grants from "privately sponsored programs," and during the same period, Kissinger was covertly working with the FBI.

An archive of 12 typed document letters, 8.5" x 11", and reports between Henry A. Kissinger and Philip Rice. Includes five signed letters from Kissinger. Dates range from February 26, 1953 to September 28, 1953, and include an overview and a report of the 1953 Harvard International Seminar.

Kissinger, the director and chief fundraiser for the Harvard International Seminars, financed the program completely through grants from private foundations. The mandate for the seminars was to create a program that brought to Harvard rising stars in foreign policy and political, cultural, and literary life from Europe and Asia to school them in American foreign policy, and within certain bounds, to promote "freedom of exchange," reaching beyond the existing exchange program.

"The program of the International Seminar is based on the assumption that the real block in America's impact on the world is not displease with specific U.S. policies but a lack of confidence in America's moral stature"

The general principles from the "Report of The Harvard International Seminar" (which is included in this archive) are as follow:

"GENERAL PRINCIPLES --The Harvard International Seminar is designed for a group not reached by any existing exchange program...It is our belief that a meeting of the most promising representatives of this group in an atmosphere like that of Harvard, created by a privately sponsored program, would go far to promote a better appreciation of common problems and of America's deeper values."

Aside from the inherent success of the program, it also sought controversy as it was privately sponsored by outside grants and not by Harvard. By 1967, several of those foundations appeared on the Times' list of CIA conduits. One of them, the Friends of the Middle East, had funneled $243,000 to the Harvard International Seminar. Abigail Collins Fichter, Kissinger's administrative assistant in the 1960s, recalls in Ralph Blumenfeld's Henry Kissinger: The Private and Public Story, that Kissinger "was running around saying, 'Oh, my God, this is terrible. People are going to say I'm working for the CIA." Kissinger may not have fully comprehended his CIA connections because the agency often laundered its funds through a series of foundations to obscure their origins. But the disclosure in 1953 of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) document shows that Kissinger consciously sought and directly worked with the FBI while at Harvard. On July 10, the FBI recorded his name in its memo, identifying him simply as a "teacher at Harvard University" ... "called the FBI, reported he had information of interest to the bureau and asked that an agent call him back." That afternoon an SAC (the FBI code word for Special Agent in Charge) interviewed Kissinger, who explained that he directed the International Seminar, which included persons from foreign countries who "are highly placed economically and politically in their own nation."

2014 Russian propaganda drive in Crimea

A propaganda campaign aimed at the agitation of the Crimean population to support the accession of Crimea to Russia is deployed recently in Crimea. For example, in Sevastopol they actively distribute SMS and instant messages in all social networks and propaganda leaflets with the following content: * support the Russian policy in Crimea; * agitation of the population to support the Crimean referendum on March 16 for Crimea to join Russian Federation; * leaflets with the referendum questions and lopside interpretation of advantages of joining Russia and discrediting Ukraine;

In the night from March 9 to March 10 in the streets of Sevastopol a lot of bigboards with the posters of the same orientation were deployed. To support the statements above we present such agitation photos posted on the wall of the Lazarevskaya Street (Sevastopol) which borders the territory of the Black Sea Fleet Training Detachment (known as Lazarev barracks) which is the "base" for the Russian military forces arrived to Crimea to block the military units of the Ukraininan Navy, and for Russian security services such as FSB as well.

Most of these materials are aimed at the population to support Crimea to join the Russian Federation on the Crimean referendum scheduled to be held on 16 March 2014. It should also be noted that these agitation posters are located right in front of the Ukrainian Navy Training Unit where the military units have not surrenedered and remain true to the oath of allegiance to the Ukrainian people. The information pressure by Russia on the Crimean people turns their minds literally upside down.

(Russia Imperialist Movement) is an ultranationalist, pro-monarchist organization based in Russia that seeks to reestablish the Russian empire. The group emphasizes twin pillars of authority: political power vested in the tsar (the pre-revolution ruler of imperial Russia) and spiritual power vested in the Russian Orthodox Church.

The organization embraces a form of Russian nationalism grounded in ethnic identity, and calls for the state to maintain influence or control over all territory in which ethnic Russians reside.

The organization operates two paramilitary training facilities in St. Petersburg, through which it offers a training course that RIM calls "Partisan." The training program includes instruction in woodland and urban assault, firearms, and other combat skills. RIM has used the facility to train private Russian citizens to fight alongside Ukrainian separatists as part of an affiliated paramilitary unit, the Imperial Legion.

AZOV Battalion defends Mariopol Hospital?

Briefly about the main issues:

Fifth day of the war. We hear the guns, we are being bombarded and there are air raids by russian troops. The Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard and the heroic regiment "Azov" guard the peaceful sleep and do everything to protect the civilians, Mariupol and Ukraine today.

For the second day, enemy aviation of the russian federation has been carrying out airstrikes on the civilian population of Sartana village and microdistricts on the Left Bank district. As a result, there are civilian casualties and destruction. But we also have a victory today - an enemy plane was shot down over Mariupol.

The delivery of grain is organized. Bread production has been launched tonight. We baked the first batch of social bread - 10 tons. We are working to stabilize prices, because not all entrepreneurs understand the conditions we are living in. Tomorrow we will increase the volume of production.

Through the network of educational institutions, the delivery of social water was provided, which can be obtained free of charge.

Mariupol entrepreneurs unite. They supply the necessary set of grocery networks so that there are stocks of products. We also supply them to the military.

There is no change in the work of public utilities. Unfortunately, we are not allowed to reach positions to restore power supply. Therefore, part of the Kalmiusky and Left Bank districts are without electricity. Some heating stations are not working. But we are doing our best to ensure stable situation in the city.

We are working to ensure that there are enough medicines in hospitals. The supply of all the necessary group of medicines has been organized. You can contact the contact center 15-55 for the medicines you need.

Mariupol residents promptly responded to the calls to provide blood to those who need it. In just an hour, we were supplied with the necessary amount of blood.

Who has mercenaries in Ukraine?

answer: everybody.

Note: For Aeons - the very nature of War drives mercenaries to them...there are conflicts all over the planet - and you can bet your bottom dollar mercenaries are there...making a their living - It's a lifestyle of high money for high risks...Usually from ex special forces who are disenchanted with regular Military pay & conditions.

From the French Foreign Legion, to the Failed Coup, headed by Simon Mann in Equitorial Guinea & further into hired guns for corporate land grab defense squads protecting Pipelines from protestors.
