i've had enough (old general)

i've had enough i've lost my soul
we've been allowed to lose our self control
and now it's here for us to see
we never found the truth in what we were

(into instr. Funky break)

the sheep have run around in line
and smell of clean white family atmospheres
the tv shines just like the sun
and we think that we're the only ones

and so the smell of dust and hate
infects him when he tries to communicate
for the love of life/the fear of death
he sits now - catches his last breath
wicked fever running high
he never meant for his own men to die
the generals old but not ashamed
he's not the only one to take the blame
from his own guns
