Once people get good feelings from something, immediately they consider it "spiritual." Many gymnastic and sporting disciplines now are adopting Yoga positions and postures, and as soon as they have the postures, immediately they associate it with "spirituality." That is how they destroy the core of Yoga, which is very, very objective. Which is a science. And this is a terrible thing.
Somebody has to stand up and say to all these modern missionaries that this is just healing, just a massage, just fighting techniques, just a psychological treatment, just gymnastics, and so on—fine, but it is not really Yoga. It is not the science that teaches you to delve into your core. That is an entirely different, and far more serious and difficult matter. ...
